My daughter needed anesthesia to have 20 cavities treated, and Eastshore was able to provide care at Kaiser Hospital since they are one of the few providers privileged to treat children there. The best part was that the surgery was completely covered by my Kaiser medical insurance. Another local dentist had referred me to a clinic in San Jose where I would have paid over $2,000 for anesthesia, so I am incredibly grateful my pediatrician referred me to Eastshore instead. Initially, I was nervous about my child having surgery at a hospital. However, Dr. Kim explained that a full team of pediatric-trained anesthesiologists and nurses would be there to ensure her safety. Dr. Kim has over 20 years of experience in pediatric dental surgery, and knowing that the hospital is the safest place to be in an emergency gave me great peace of mind. The team at Eastshore made the entire process seamless. Dr. Kim was very gentle during my daughter's initial exam and confirmed that she met the criteria for hospital treatment.
